I cannot say enough positive things about this bookshelf! It is by far one of the easiest pieces I’ve assembled, and that’s saying a lot. Materially speaking, all of the parts are very solid, and the shelves are nicely weighted - enough so that I don’t think they’ll warp like cheaper ones I’ve ordered in the past. There’s two different methods for assembly, I opted for the style with the planks extending beyond the metal frame, the other is flush. Although there’s a wall mount included, this is weighted enough where unless you’re putting a lot of top heavy stuff on it, it shouldn’t fall over (but that’s just my opinion).I've done a lot of you-build-it furniture. Some are definitely easier than others. Assembling this bookshelf was a piece of CAKE. Probably one of the easiest assemblies I may have done, it's that simple. Also great is that it as 2 assembly options, with the supports closer in or out at the edges of the shelves. The shelves are NICE and thick with this, so you shouldn't see any sagging, unless you put a REAL heavy load on these. If you really load these down, I suggest putting the supports on the inside position to provide the most support to the shelves. If you're easy with how you load it down, and are looking more for max capacity, definitely go with the supports on the outer position. What's important is that you have the option.I had no alignment issues, no shipping damage, no missing parts, it even includes wall anchors if you need them for your particular installation, and it's very, very solid. I'll tell you straight up, I've had some DIY furniture that was pretty low quality. But this was 5 stars all the way. Even the instructions were legible and made sense. Way it should be done, guys. Very much recommend this. Total build time, half an hour, easy. If you need a decent bookshelf, this one is great.Great bookcase. Very nicely packaged, the boards were individually wrapped to avoid scratching during shipping. Assembly was very easy. You have two options for the shelves. They can either be sticking outside the bars or even with the bars. There are predrilled holes for your screws so you just easily adjust the shelf to your preferred width. This can be changed in the future if you decide to go with a different look. I decided to go with my bookcase flush with the bars since I have young kids, and didn’t want to have to worry about them hitting the corners. It comes with hardware to secure to the wall. It’s a sturdy piece so it is secure without the wall mount, but I would highly recommend attaching it to the wall if you do have young kids as if they were attempting to climb this, it would likely tip over. The piece really does just look fantastic. I’m using mine for some books, plants, and decor. It looks fantastic in my living room, and tied the room together. I would highly recommend this as someone who isn’t very savvy at assembling furniture, this was very easy for me, zero frustration, and a great looking product. Thanks for reading, hope this review is helpful!I like this shelf, it comes very nicely shipped, well protected, individual pieces are shipped vacuum sealed to protect the finishes.Putting together is a breeze, an allen wrench is included, its all you need unless you would like to attach it to a wall. You can have two configurations, either flush shelves on the end, or shelves that stick out past the frames a small bit. Its nice to have this option and it makes an already great bookshelf even more versatile.Very easy to put together, very solid once together.Directions are not great, it said to screw a into the cross supports on the back, also states there are four of screw a, there is only three of screw a included and it does not fit, I realized the leftover four screws labled b which is the screws that secure the shelves to the frame are actually what you want here, fit perfect to hold the cross brace on the back. Other than this very simple. The finish looks nice, I'm not sure it is worth two hundred plus, depends on your use and where you want to use it I suppose. I do like it and I like the look of it. It is very sturdy after being put together.Once assembled this is an attractive and sturdy bookcase. Assembly was straightforward. Instructions were adequate. You can chose whether the shelves lie flush or extend beyond the frame. I opted to have them lie flush. Looks neater. There are rubber feet to prevent maring. It is stable without wobble. Handsome it should blend with most decors.
